Two cards today ...

The first is a CAS masculine card for CASual Fridays.  Guy cards are always a stretch for me, so having a challenge is sooo helpful!

I used my Spellbinders Small Circle Set, Stampin Up Happy Birthday Stamp,
and paper from my scrap heap.

This second card I created for the Less is More challenge

Stamps are from Stampin Up, I colored the flower with Primsacolor pencils and odorless mineral spirits.

Thanks for stopping by!

Operation Write Home

I discovered OWH (Operation Write Home) in 2008 through a Memorial Day Bloghop when it was then called "Cards for Hero's".  As I haven't been making many cards this past year or so, I haven't really kept up with them, but am hoping to get back to it.  This organization sends thousands of handmade cards overseas to our military men and women to use to keep in touch with their friends and family.  Each Sunday there is a new sketch posted on the OWH Stars and Stamps blog.  Here is my card based on this week's sketch ...

My Mind's Eye card base; EK Success border punch; Vellum sentiment from stash; Bazzill CS from scrap heap ...

Thankful

and I'm back in the game .... at least I hope so!

I recently stumbled across the blog CAS-ual Fridays and this week's challenge is to
so here is my card made from kraft cardstock, distress inks, studio G "thankful" stamp and an unknown maple leaf stamp.
